Our mission, vision, and beliefs express the biblical convictions that guide the worship, teaching, ministry, and life of Church of God by Faith, Inc.
To proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, develop committed disciples, strengthen families, and serve our community with faith, compassion, and excellence.
To be a thriving, multigenerational church where people encounter God, discover purpose, grow in biblical truth, and make a meaningful impact in the world.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the supreme and final authority for Christian faith and living.
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal future return to this earth in power and glory.
We believe that man was created good and upright, but by voluntary transgression fell into sin. Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ, by which a person is justified by grace through faith.
Water Baptism: We believe in baptism by immersion in water in the name of the Father, realized through the authority of Jesus Christ, as an outward sign of an inward cleansing by the Holy Spirit and as a commitment to Christian living.
Holy Communion: We believe in the Lord’s Supper as a symbolic remembrance of Christ’s suffering and death, and a prophecy of His second coming.
We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, an experience distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth. We believe this experience is witnessed by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance.
We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation at Christ’s return.
We believe that deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement and is the privilege of all believers today through prayer and the laying on of hands.
We believe in the imminent, premillennial return of Jesus Christ to resurrect the righteous dead and catch away the living saints, followed by the visible return of Christ with His saints to reign on earth for a thousand years.
We believe there will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake of fire.
